One way of prevention so that we are not attacked by computer viruses is to prevent the execution of the virus file. One way is to prevent transmission of the virus from flash. For prevention, we can use one of the features available in Windows XP that is Local Security Settings.
The way it works is to protect the computer from the execution of all *. exe files. So that when we open the files in the flash and unbeknownst to us was to run a virus file, then the execution process will be in the protection or are canceled.
The steps are
->
1. Select Start>> Control Panel
2. Select Administrative Tools>> Local Security Policy
3. Select Software Restriction Policies>> Additional Rules
4. Right-click on Additional Rules>> select New Path Rule ...
5. In the Path column, select Browes flshdisk select which drive is located, eg in I: \
6. In the Security Level field, select Disallowed
7. Select OK and Restart your computer
Now let's execute one of the *. exe file.
ok ...! Apparently *. exe files now can no longer be executed in flash. Means that our computers a little more secure from virus attacks to spread through flash.
Then how to let the *. exe files can be run ..??? How ya we first moved the file to the Drive / Hard Drive.
Nb: If we run the *. exe files are in compressed, eg use winrar the file can still be run. But the example we want to extract the file could not be done. (Written The System Can not Find The Path Specified)
The fear is our time to compress the file *. exe has entered into a virus, but I hope not ...
Good Luck, ...
